Vishwanath Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and located on the north-eastern corner of the western group complex. It was built in the 11th century and renowned for its sculptures. Adding beauty to the shrine, images of lions and elephants can be seen on the southern as well as northern steps of the temple.

Lakshmana Temple

This huge stone temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has more than 600 images of gods and goddesses of the Hindu mythology. It was built in 930-950 A.D. and regarded as one of the oldest existing temples in western group.

Kandariya Mahadev Temple

It is one of the biggest temples in Khajuraho and was constructed in 1025-1050. This temple depicts the Chandela art and comprised of images relating to musicians, beautiful women, erotic groups, goddesses and gods.

Ram Raja Temple

It is another important tourist attraction in Orchha that includes 14 Chattris placed in a single row. These Chattris are basically the tombs of emperors and symbolizes the rich cultural heritage of India.
