Major Tourist Attractions / Tourist Places in Haridwar

Har ki Pauri

Mansa Devi temple

This temple is believed to fulfill wishes, so devotees tie holy threads to the sacred tree. It is located atop the Bilwa Parvat on Shivalik Hills and dedicated to Goddess Mansa, who was the brainchild of Saint Kashyap and wife of Nag Vasuki.

Bharat Mata Mandir

It is also called as Mother India Temple and dedicated to Bharat Mata. It was founded by Swami Satyamitranand Giri. In 1983 and inaugurated by Smt. Indira Gandhi – Late prime minister of India.
