Junagarh fort

Laxmi Niwas Palace

The Laxmi Niwas Palace is a former residential palace built by Maharajah Ganga Singh, the ruler of the former state of Bikaner. It was designed by the British architect, Samuel Swinton Jacob in the year 1902. The style of architecture is Indo-Saracenic. It is now a luxury hotel owned by Golden Triangle Fort & Palace Pvt. Ltd. This magnificent structure in red sandstone is one of the most popular destinations for tourists coming to Bikaner from different parts of the world.

Lalgarh Palace

Lalgarh Palace was built in the year between 1902 and 1926 in accordance with European, Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. The building was commissioned by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the memory of his father Maharaja Lall Singh and was designed by the British architect, Samuel Swinton Jacob. It is coated in red sandstone and has several grand halls, lounges, cupolas and pavilions. The building features magnificent pillars, elaborate fireplaces, Italian colonnades and intricate latticework and filigree work. The palace houses the Shri Sadul Museum as well as a large and important collection of Sanskrit manuscripts, the Anup Sanskrit Library.

Karni Mata Temple

Karni Mata temple is the temple of Goddess Durga and the most prominent aspect of this temple is thousands of rats and the belief about these rats are rebirth of the devotees of Karni Mata. The most exciting part about these rats is that they are harmless. Navratri and various types of fairs can be enjoyable at this temple by the travelers coming from different parts of the world.
